Owner/Instructor
Jennifer Ellis
I am a native of Terre Haute and Alumni of Indiana State University where I studied Exercise Science and Sport Studies. I have been a Fitness Specialist as well as Group Exercise and Spinning instructor for 15 years, starting my career at Union Hospital Center for Fitness and Performance. My passion for health and wellness and my love for this community has empowered me to create a safe, trusted, experienced space for every walk of life to improve every aspect of their health, no matter the circumstances. I’m looking forward to guiding you on your path to wellness.
Co-Owner, Swole Cycle Instructor
Ramsey Ellis
I have had a passion for health and wellness that began as a multiple sport athlete. After my days as an athlete came to a close, I continued to live an active lifestyle and started my career as an electrician that extended 25 years. I recently decided to take my experience in construction and maintenance and started “Haute Property Sevices, LLC, construction and handyman services. My wife and I both had dreams of starting our own fitness studio so we put our talents together to create “Haute Fitness and Cycling”. We completely flipped a one time gas station, into a modern, unique, fitness and cycling studio.
I’m looking forward to this chapter as a Fitness and Cycling instructor.
Instructor
Ashley Luken
Ashley is a fitness instructor who's journey began as a runner. As she began expanding her fitness she became interested in group fitness and spinning. Ashley has been certified in spinning for 5 years and is an avid lover of the Peleton. She has taken a few years off from group instruction but is excited to return to the bike with her classes.
Instructor, NASM certified
Raven Newton
Hi, my name is Raven! I am so thankful for this opportunity to join Haute Fitness & Cycling!
I grew up dancing and being active but once I became a mom staying active fell on the list of priorities. As a mom of three, I can understand how tough it can be to get your workouts in. One thing that really saved me this time around being postpartum was attending group exercise classes. I fell in love with fitness all over again! I can’t wait to help others do the same!
Instructor
Jessica Markle
“Push the pedal(s) down, watch the world around fly by us” –Mat Kearney
Jessica would say her love language is music, and she’s sure to incorporate that into conversation, cycling cues, and most everywhere else! She is also passionate about group fitness and believes we are all better because of and a product of those around us. Jessica began group fitness as a Zumba® instructor and then certified with Spinning® in 2018. Since certification, she has enjoyed blending fitness with music and mindfulness on the bike. Jessica has also put in many miles outdoors as a road cyclist over the last decade. She enjoys bringing that knowledge, visualizations, and “every ride a journey” into class. Some of her favorite places she has ridden include Alaska, Napa Valley, across the Golden Gate Bridge, Denver, and across the state of Indiana for the RAIN ride. Outside of cycling, Jessica enjoys mentoring others personally and professionally, hiking, yoga, kombucha, cooking, being a mental health friend and advocate, serving with her church, and spending time with friends and family.

Lynda Bell
Hi, My name is Lynda Bell. After receiving my Corporate Fitness degree from the University of Minnesota, I worked in the fitness industry for several years prior to moving to Indiana. After several years of working side by side with my entrepreneurial minded husband and raising twin daughters, I’m excited to once again be promoting fitness and well being. I’ll be leading some of the HIIT classes at the fitness studio. My other interests besides fitness include traveling, reading, listening to podcasts, playing guitar, and watching the Boilermakers in football and basketball. Hope to see you soon in one of my classes!!
